Mines is a World of Tanks Blitz map.

General[]

This map is based on the map of WOT. The map is located around a mine. In the center of the map is a mine, with only one entrance on the left and a small slope. In the middle of the entrance and exit, at the top of the slope, there is a big stone enough to be a bunker. On the left side of the map is a river and a hill; On the right side of the map is a small town, and there are many houses on the road leading to the town. There is a mountain on the upper and lower sides of the map.

Strategy[]

Mountain[]

Located right smack in the middle of the map, the mountain is where combat takes place most of the time. There is an Obi-Wan "High Ground Wins" sentiment, and for Mines, controlling the High Ground does in fact increase your chances of victory. Lights and fast Mediums should rush up the mountain as fast as possible, in the meantime spotting the entire enemy team on the cross, and go around the rock in the middle as swerving a sharp left/right (depending on your spawn) reveals your entire tank to enemy fire, before using the rock as cover to decimate your opponents.

If there is competition for the hill, and you are outnumbered, retreat immediately as your team is most likely already bogged down by the path up the mountain.

If the speed exceeds 60 kilometers per hour, some tanks can directly rush to the top of the mine at a nearly vertical angle.

However, it was soon banned, and it was raised after the update.

Gethere

Town[]

The base is located in the town in the upper right corner.

If the mountain has been captured by the enemy, it is not a good idea to exchange fire here.

Snipe

TD's sniper point is on the mountain where it was start, and it can attack the hills in the middle, the road leading to the town and the hills and rivers on the left. If the vehicles in the middle hill want to go up the mountain, they will definitely walk out of the stone and expose the side of the vehicles to the TD of the sniper point. However, in low-level games, vehicles other than TD often gather at their own sniper points.

Trivia[]
